ASIFA-South Sponsors “Figure Drawing at the Park” Series to Support Atlanta Artists

ASIFA-South, the Southeast U.S. chapter of the international animation society, is proud to sponsor the 2025 Figure Drawing at the Park series, held monthly from May through October at Piedmont Park Conservancy’s Community Center. In alignment with its mission to foster creative accessibility, ASIFA-South’s support will help keep the cost of each session at an affordable $10—the lowest figure drawing price in Atlanta—while providing complimentary access for ASIFA-South members with a sign-up code via member's monthly newsletter to register for any of the sessions below free of charge. General registration is available through the Piedmont Park Conservancy at piedmontpark.org/programs.

The sessions are led by Joe Peery, a celebrated ASIFA-South legacy artist and longtime advocate for Atlanta’s animation community. Each session takes place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the following dates:
