Sandee Chamberlain

Professor of Animation, KSU & Moderator

Sandee M Chamberlain-Bedford has been an educator in animation for nearly two decades. She has professional experience in storyboarding, 2D animation, Character Design, and Concept Art. She has a fascination with moving imagery and is currently working on an animated short film chronicling her journey living with migraines. Sandee is currently the learning coordinator at ASIFA-South.

Colin Wheeler

Professor of Animation, KSU

Dr. Colin Wheeler researches media industries, with a focus on animation. After completing his MFA in Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design, he earned his Doctorate in Film, Media, and Theater at Georgia State University. Remaining a passionate creator and critic of animated media, he makes short experimental films that incorporate animation, puppetry, and live-action. He teaches storyboarding and animation history at Kennesaw State University.

Pete Hriso

Professor of Animation, KSU

Peter Hriso serves as a professor at Kennesaw State University's Department of Art and Design. He leads the distinctive online Master of Arts in Art and Design program, offering Digital Animation, Art Education, and Museum Studies concentrations. With over two decades of academic experience, he has contributed to various degree programs, including a BFA in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, and Digital Animation, a BA in Art Education, and a BS in Digital Media. Before his current focus on teaching digital animation and motion graphics, Peter held significant roles in the digital media industry.

Lisa Ferrell

Producer, Slothique & Professor of Practice, Georgia State & Moderator

Lisa Ferrell, Producer for Slothique animation, is a seasoned production professional whose background encompasses television series and film development and production/post production for television, film and commercials. Lisa is also a CMII Professor of Practice and has worked in series and telefilm development for such companies as CBS, Lifetime Television/Hearst Entertainment, NBC and TBS. While at motion capture studio Giant Studios, she was involved in the post-production of films that include New Line Cinema’s “Lord of the Rings” trilogy and Sony Imageworks animated holiday feature “Polar Express”.

Chris Malone

Storyboard Artist & Assistant Professor of Animation, KSU

Chris "Kilika" Malone is an Emmy-Award winning cartoonist and the coordinator for the Digital Animation program at Kennesaw State University. He has worked on a variety of awesome cartoons such as Cyanide and Happiness, Archer, Adam Ruins Everything, WWE Storytime, and more. He tries to find a way to hide one of his 3 dogs in every cartoon project that he works on.
