TERMINUS & ASIFA-South Partnership Announced
by Asifa-South | May 17, 2017 | Press
ASIFA-SOUTH International Animation Society is extremely excited to announce our partnership with TERMINUS Conference and Festival.

TERMINUS Conference and Festival is a one-of-a-kind event for emerging filmmakers and game developers; with four full days of engaging screenings, workshops, and panels to empower creators. Terminus had a very humble beginning as Campus MovieFest (CMF), which became the world’s largest student film festival. With Georgia’s film industry growing exponentially, the team over at CMF chose to emulate the same model that worked so immensely well in the past. Thus, in the summer of 2016 Terminus Conference and Festival was born. Now, a multiday event that aims to unite creators from various forms of media. The festival will be held June 22-25, 2017 in Atlanta, GA. Be sure to check them out this coming month, as well as the ASIFA-SOUTH sponsored panels.

Storyboarding with Kevin Mellon: Scripts to Illustrators Presented by ASIFA-South Freelance Comicbook Illustrator turned Storyboard Artist (Archer & Vampire Diaries), Kevin Mellon talks about the differences between working in animation and live action. He will go over how to storyboard a script to finished product and the physical/digital drawing techniques he employs to execute his, and the directors’, ideas in a timely manner. Additionally, he’ll discuss working in a studio environment versus working freelance at home, and the realities of life in television.
